Lookout Valley Yellowjackets (Chattanooga, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Whitwell Tigers (Whitwell, TN), 41-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lookout Valley upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Chattanooga Prep (Chattanooga, TN) to play the Sentinels in a 1A District 5 bout on Monday, December 4. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Chattanooga Prep lost 55-49 in their recent non-league bout against Cleveland (Cleveland, TN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Whitwell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 66-33 non-league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN).
