The Perry County Central Commodores basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Magoffin County Hornets to 73 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Friday.

The Commodores now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harlan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Perry County Central will meet a Green Dragons team coming off a 74-28 non-league loss to Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Green Dragons record now stands at 0-1.

The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Blazer was nudged by Harlan County (Harlan, KY), 80-70, in a non-league contest.
