The Midland Mustangs basketball team (Pleasant Plains, AR), was nudged 61-58 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Timbo Tigers (Timbo, AR)
The Tigers now possess a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rural Special for a 1A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, December 5. Timbo will confront a Rebels team coming off a 72-60 league loss to West Side (Greers Ferry, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 3-9.
The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Brinkley (Brinkley, AR). The Tigers come into the 1A Region 5 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Brinkley was nudged by Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR), 31-30, in a non-league battle.
