Mustang Broncos (Mustang, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Putnam City North Panthers (Oklahoma City, OK), 57-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mustang upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Broncos host Piedmont (Piedmont, OK) to play the Wildcats in a 6A District 1 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Piedmont won 111-21 in their recent league bout against Capitol Hill (Oklahoma City, OK)

Next up, the Panthers play the Deer Creek Antlers (Edmond, OK) in a 6A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Putnam City North will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Antlers come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 65-59 league loss to Edmond North (Edmond, OK).
