North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkland nips North Rowan

December 1, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27127

Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 64-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Parkland upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Salisbury won 69-56 in their recent non-league bout against Robinson (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. North Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 70-61 non-league loss to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).
