The Woodland Warriors basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Roanoke-Benson Rockets to 42 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gardner-South Wilmington for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Woodland will battle a Panthers team coming off a 63-43 league win over Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.

The Rockets (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Eureka was nudged by Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL), 54-43, in a non-league contest.
