Archbishop Wood Vikings (Warminster, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls (Philadelphia, PA), 47-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Archbishop Wood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Raiders and Ragdolls clash with the Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds (Bensalem, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Archbishop Ryan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Firebirds go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 40-38 non-league loss to Devon Prep (Devon, PA).
