Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Des Moines East Scarlets (Des Moines, IA), 64-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Railsplitters host Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA) to play the Dodgers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Dodgers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Scarlets play the Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Des Moines East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
