Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Caddo Hills Indians (Norman, AR), 72-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Acorn upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Tigers host Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR) to clash with the Rattlers in a 2A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Murfreesboro won 60-38 in their recent league bout against Foreman (Foreman, AR)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Umpire Wildcats (Umpire, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Caddo Hills will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 74-37 league loss to Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR).
