Collins Tigers (Collins, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS), 46-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Collins upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS) to play the Tartars in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Tartars go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Christian Collegiate Academy Bulldogs (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Sumrall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 46-5 non-league loss to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS).
