Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), 39-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southeast Whitfield County upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Raiders host North Murray (Chatsworth, GA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. North Murray won 50-42 in their recent non-league bout against Woodland (Cartersville, GA)

Next up, the Pumas clash with the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Dalton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 47-20 non-league win over Hixson (Hixson, TN).
