North Carolina High School Basketball - Douglas Byrd overwhelmed by Scotland

The Douglas Byrd Eagles basketball team (Fayetteville, NC), was overwhelmed 66-29 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC)

The Fighting Scots now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumberton for a non-league battle on Monday, December 4. Scotland will confront a Pirates team coming off a 61-21 non-league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Union Pines trounced Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 36-27, in a non-league battle.
