The Fairland Owls basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Welch Wildcats to 22 in the Owls league victory on Friday.

The Owls now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oologah for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Fairland will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 45-42 league loss to Vinita (Vinita, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Watts (Watts, OK). The Engineers come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Watts triumphed over Bokoshe (Bokoshe, OK), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
