The Southern Alamance Patriots basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Graham Red Devils to 27 in the Patriots non-league victory on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grimsley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Southern Alamance will battle a Whirlies team coming off a 49-48 non-league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 1-2.
The Red Devils (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers come into the 1A/2A Mid-Carolina contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bartlett Yancey was routed by Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 61-32, in a non-league contest.
