The Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) basketball knocked off the host South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL), 44-35 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians go into the Kishwaukee River test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Sandwich went down by Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL), 56-31, in a league test.

The Sobos now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Harvest Christian Academy for a Northeastern test on Thursday, December 7. South Beloit will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 57-53 non-league loss to Willows Academy (Des Plaines, IL). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
