The Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) basketball crushed the visiting Hixson Wildcats (Hixson, TN), 47-20 in Friday's non-league test.

The Owls (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA). The Pumas go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Dalton Academy was trounced by Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA), 39-23, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Soddy Daisy for a 3A District 6 test on Tuesday, December 5. Hixson will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 40-39 league loss to Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 1-5.
