The Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), 37-34 in Friday's non-league test.

The Huskies (2-5) will now prepare for their test against West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Raiders go into the AAAA Region 2 test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, West Laurens was tipped by Dublin (Dublin, GA), 57-38, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan for a AA Region 2 test on Tuesday, December 12.
