Georgia High School Basketball - Islands nipped by Memorial Day

The Memorial Day Matadors tipped the visiting Islands Sharks basketball team by a final score of 30-29 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Matadors face the Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 2. Memorial Day will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Buccaneers enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 35-30 non-league win over Lowcountry Leadership (Hollywood, SC).

With the defeat, Islands moves to 0-3 on the year. The Sharks travel to The Habersham School (Savannah, GA) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, December 4. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 3-3. The Habersham School lost 43-30 in their recent league game against Trinity Christian (Statesboro, GA)
