New York High School Basketball - St. Joseph Hill Academy fells Kennedy Catholic

St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers (Staten Island, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY), 53-39 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph Hill Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Mary Louis Academy (Jamaica, NY) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Gaels play the St. Edmund Prep Eagles (Brooklyn, NY) in a Catholic - Brooklyn/Queens II bout, on Saturday, December 2. Kennedy Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 37-17 non-league win over Promise Academy II (New York, NY).
