New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Grande nudges Menaul

Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM), 48-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rio Grande upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Ravens host Ramah (Ramah, NM) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Ramah lost 49-25 in their recent non-league bout against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Menaul will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 48-45 non-league loss to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
