Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County overwhelms Mineral County

December 1, 2023: Hawthorne, NV 89415

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), saw Pershing County's basketball squad wallop Mineral County by a tally of 55-8.

With the victory, Pershing County improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Smith Valley (Smith, NV) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Smith Valley won 35-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Beatty (Beatty, NV)

Next up, the Serpents play the Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Mineral County will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 35-8 non-league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV).
