Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA), 55-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Nikes travel to Danville (Danville, IA) to play the Bears in a SEI - West bout on Thursday, December 7. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Warriors play the West Burlington Falcons (West Burlington, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Van Buren County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 48-29 non-league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA).
