Mississippi High School Basketball - West Lauderdale can't hold off Scott Central

December 1, 2023: Forest, MS 39074

The Scott Central Rebels basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting West Lauderdale Knights to 36 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Scott Central will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 62-40 non-league win over Richland (Richland, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-2.

The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Union (Union, MS). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Union nudged Clarkdale (Meridian, MS), 59-26, in a non-league contest.
