Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans (Port St. Lucie, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Westwood Panthers (Fort Pierce, FL), 56-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Somerset College Prep Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Port St. Lucie (Port St. Lucie, FL) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Port St. Lucie lost 72-12 in their recent non-league bout against Sebastian River (Sebastian, FL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Jensen Beach Falcons (Jensen Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Westwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 51-32 non-league loss to Martin County (Stuart, FL).
