Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA), 40-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blacksburg upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bruins host Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Lord Botetourt lost 39-35 in their recent non-league bout against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Floyd County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
