Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA), 46-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pulaski County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Floyd County (Floyd, VA) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Buffaloes come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Floyd County lost 40-25 in their recent non-league bout against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Carroll County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Floyd County (Floyd, VA).
