Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA), 39-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Saugus upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Centurions travel to Hart (Newhall, CA) to play the Indians in a bout on Friday, December 8. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Vikings play the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, December 2. Valencia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
