The Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 48-28 in Friday's non-league test.

The Golden Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their test against North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, North Stokes notched a victory over McMichael (Mayodan, NC), 35-30, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Galax for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6.
