The Central Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets to 34 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewisville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 6.

The Yellow Jackets (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, South Stanly was defeated by West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 59-53, in a non-league contest.
