Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 42-18 in a league bout.
With the win, Coal City upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Coalers travel to Peotone (Peotone, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Lions play the Newark Norsemen (Newark, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Lisle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Norsemen go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 44-22 non-league loss to Serena (Serena, IL).
