Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Graham Red Devils (Graham, NC), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southern Alamance upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to meet the Whirlies in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 5. The Whirlies enter the match with a record of 2-0. Grimsley won 70-35 in their recent non-league match against T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Graham will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 59-51 non-league loss to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC).
