With the win, Person upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Rockets host Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Riverside-Durham won 46-27 in their recent non-league bout against Green Hope (Cary, NC)

Next up, the Comets play the Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Halifax County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 60-34 non-league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
