South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA), 38-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Cobb upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA) to play the Falcons in a bout on Saturday, December 9. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

In their next game, the Lions face the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 3. Westlake will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
