Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) backers went home thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Douglass Red Devils (Memphis, TN), 49-47 in a non-league contest.

The Red Panthers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Side (Shelby, MS). The Gators go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record.

In their next game, the Red Devils confront the Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 5. Douglass will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Red Panthers go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 57-23 non-league win over West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS).
