North Carolina High School Basketball - Columbia toppled by Perquimans

Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) backers went home thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC), 60-48 in a non-league contest.

The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 4. Columbia will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Redskins go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 69-47 non-league win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC).
