The Vandalia Christian Vikings basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Gospel Light Christian to 53 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tabernacle Christian for a NCCSA AA West Region 1 game on Friday, December 5. Vandalia Christian will confront a Conquerors team coming off a 43-37 league win over Liberty Christian (Durham, NC). The Conquerors record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Gospel Light Christian falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The travel to Indiana Christian Academy (Anderson, IN) to meet the Whirlwinds in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 4. The Whirlwinds enter the battle with a record of 6-0. Indiana Christian Academy won 67-25 in their recent non-league contest against Emmanuel Christian (Wabash, IN)
