In Monday's non-league test, the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) basketball team edged the host Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), by a tally of 59-58.
The Falcons now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Mount Airy for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 3.
The Firebirds (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Clover Garden School held off Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC), 54-46, in a non-league test.
