    The Alma Panthers routed the host Birch Run Panthers basketball team by a final score of 76-47 in Friday's league game.

    In their next game, the Panthers face the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East game, on Friday, December 17. Alma will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Dukes enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 71-56 league win over Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI).
