The Queensbury Spartans basketball team (Queensbury, NY), was toppled 72-57 in Friday's league battle with the host Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY)
The Rams now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotia-Glenville for a Section 2 Foothills battle on Tuesday, January 18.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY). The Patriots come into the Section 2 Foothills battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Broadalbin-Perth was toppled by Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY), 67-46, in a league battle.
