Fort White Indians (Fort White, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hamilton County Trojans (Jasper, FL), 53-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fort White upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hawthorne (Hawthorne, FL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 13. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Trojans play the Bell Bulldogs (Bell, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Hamilton County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 44-40 league win over Dixie County (Cross City, FL).
