The Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL), 72-59 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Asbury (Albertville, AL). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Asbury notched a victory over Sylvania (Sylvania, AL), 61-60, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glencoe for a 3A Area 12 test on Tuesday, December 14. Hokes Bluff will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Southside (Gadsden, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-5.
