Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC), 58-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Midway upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 17. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Hobbton won 44-14 in their recent non-league bout against Jones (Trenton, NC)

Next up, the Leopards play the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 16. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Dark Horses come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 41-40 non-league win over James Kenan (Warsaw, NC).
