Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), 53-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Venice upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Gondoliers host Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 11. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Santa Monica won 68-12 in their recent non-league bout against Gahr (Cerritos, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Price Knights (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 29. University will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
