Georgia High School Basketball - Covenant Academy can't hold off Academy for Classical Education

The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Covenant Academy to 50 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Gryphons now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast for a AA Region 2 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Academy for Classical Education will battle a Raiders team coming off a 83-60 non-league loss to Jones County (Gray, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-4.
The (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, John Hancock Academy was nudged by Gatewood (Eatonton, GA), 53-33, in a non-league contest.
