In Saturday's non-league outing, the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) basketball squad edged the host Josey Eagles (Augusta, GA), by a count of 51-45.

The Musketeers (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Yellowjackets go into the AAAA Region 4 outing with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, North Augusta nipped Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC), 69-41, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Eagles play the Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA) in a AA Region 4B challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Josey will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 77-73 non-league loss to Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA).
