The Tiftarea Academy Panthers basketball team (Chula, GA), was overwhelmed 74-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA)

The Rebels now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Echols County for a A D2 Region 2 battle on Tuesday, December 13. Atkinson County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 63-37 league loss to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.

The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Westwood (Camilla, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record.
