The Mustangs now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield East for a non-league battle on Monday, December 12. Downers Grove South will confront a Bengals team coming off a 60-52 league loss to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 5-3.
The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles come into the West Suburban - Gold battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Leyden was toppled by Hinsdale South (Darien, IL), 53-49, in a league battle.
