Bigelow Panthers (Bigelow, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 56-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Bigelow upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Panthers host Conway Christian (Conway, AR) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region 5 bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Conway Christian won 41-33 in their recent league bout against Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Abundant Life Owls (North Little Rock, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Cutter-Morning Star will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
