Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL), 54-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Huntsville upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hartselle (Hartselle, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Hartselle lost 62-56 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Patriots play the Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Bob Jones will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
