Tyner Academy Rams (Chattanooga, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brainerd Panthers (Chattanooga, TN), 76-74 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Tyner Academy improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Walker Valley won 61-47 in their recent league challenge against Rhea County (Evensville, TN)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN) in a 2A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Brainerd will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 66-59 league loss to Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN).
